Animal Rescue Flights Wags & Purrs

As active pilots, we have worked hard to gain unique skills that we continuously work hard to improve. We do it because we love flying. And it's even better when we can put our skills to work for animals in need. Week in and week out, ARF flight coordinators take enormous amounts of information from various sources and organize it into a logical plan of action for the pilots, senders, and receivers. Week in and week out, highly skilled teams of ARF pilots complete flight plans with as much efficiency as weather, winds and aircraft allow. We sometimes get so focused on reaching our goals as we plan and perform these animal rescue flights that we may not take time to appreciate the fact that, with every single flight, we are changing the lives of these animals forever. For your encouragement, we present these comments from our shelter and rescue contacts. Thank you for what you do for the animals. Julia & Clark Animal Rescue Flights " Good morning, folks! All went as planned. Picked up the pups and got them to the airport and they should now be well on their way. We also got some pics, which I will download later in the day and send to you. Very sweet puppies. We jogged them a little (or I should say they jogged us) at the airport and that helped calm them down. We didn’t get pics of them heading out but we did get pics of them in the plane. They jumped in without hesitation. You guys are awesome! We need more people like you in the world. Land transports of that distance are difficult, and Ozzie had so little time. We were THRILLED when Animal Rescue Flights came through for Ozzie! This sweet and special boy, who came so close to death twice, now has a chance at a brand new happy life, thanks to the efforts of many who believed in him and took a chance and the steps to help him! John said she did great on the plane and by the time they arrived they were best of friends. Annie is doing great, sleeping on my bed. Needless to say, I never thought this dream would become a reality, I can't believe my baby is home with me. There are just no words to describe the gratitude that I have. I am just overwhelmed with the outreach that I received from you all. I feel very sure that this has saved annies life as well as the life of her puppies. She has a vet appt tomorrow morning and we will get a better idea of exactly when the litter is due and make sure annies health is okay. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
